This section is dedicated to the memory of two of my Friends/Brothers, SGT Gregory J. Denton ~ D Co, 1st Bn, 506th Inf RGT, 101 ABN Div, (from Tampa, FLA) and PFC Steven E. Frederick ~ C Co, 2/502nd Inf Battalion, 1st Brigade (from Hollywood, FLA)
who proudly served with the 101st Airborne Division and were both killed in Vietnam at the young age of 21. My deepest sympathy to the relatives and friends of
Greg and Steve who are not forgotten in our hearts. Three days before Steven Frederick was killed (Jan 30, 1969), I met with him on a Fire Base in the Ashau Valley,
and took the photograph mentioned below. If anybody knows the strange circumstances surrounding the death of PFC Steven Frederick, please email me as I would greatly appreciate this information.
